Scaffold type: Solar panel scaffolding.
Area: Swanborough Drive, Brighton, East Sussex, BN2.
Customer requirements: We were asked to provide a quotation to a solar panel company for two separate scaffolds on the side and rear of a 2-storey property in Brighton so they could install a solar panel system on the roof. Both of the towers we erected were exactly the same size. We quoted £550 with our standard 4-week rental period included.
Difficulties and challenges we encountered: We did not have any challenges whilst erecting both towers. We found access to the rear and side of this property excellent.
Work we undertook: Our scaffolders erected a tower at the back and side of this Brighton property. Both towers were approximately 5 metres wide and 5 metres high, with two scaffolding lifts on each; however only the top lifts were working platforms. These towers were to provide access at gutter level for the installers to easily reach the roof of this semi-detached property.
The back had a small conservatory in which a section of the scaffold was spurred up from the bottom lift over the conservatory. This was to provide the installers with full reachable access to the whole area of the roof. The side of the property was on a slight slope which we took into consideration while erecting the tower
Other information
Hire term: Both scaffolds were hired by our customer for a total of 4 weeks which was more than enough time to complete their installation.

When you have accepted our quote, we will then book you on a date that is convenient for you. We will arrive on time and install the scaffolding, ensuring the correct safety measures are put in place, for example, ladder access, ladder gates etc. When you have finished using the scaffold, call us, and we will book you in for dismantling, where we will remove all materials and equipment. If you are satisfied with our service, you will have the option to leave a review for our company online if you wish to.
